SAU Presents: Green Spaces in Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City is a wonderful and bustling metropolis which can get overwhelming for some people, especially on days when the pollution is bad and the heat is unbearable. The general impression of this city from both residents and visitors alike is one with plenty of noise and chaos. While this is true in high traffic areas, did you know that you can find small pockets of green spaces scattered around the city, some even in District 1, if you need some peace and quiet.
In fact, HCMC is not just all concrete jungle. It’s quite common for Saigon residents to visit these parks for walks, or catch up with friends for a game of badminton early in the morning as part of their daily routine. This is actually one of the easiest ways to socialise and keep fit without needing to spend on anything. Some of these parks are also stations for bicycle sharing services, so you can move around between them. Check out these green spaces around Saigon if you want to experience some peace and quiet, join in fun and relaxing activities, or simply escape from the insane heat.
