SAU Explores: Things to Do at Binh Thanh District
Binh Thanh District is located just next to District 1, Thu Duc, and near Thao Dien in Ho Chi Minh City, making this one of the more popular districts for visitors to explore whenever they come to HCMC. Although it’s also one of the more confusing districts to move around just due to its size and the many streets you’ll encounter, there are quite a number of permanent fixtures that have over time, turned into iconic landmarks of the city.
In recent years, due to the new apartments and other residential developments sprouting up around the district, the Binh Thanh area now has way more to offer than just Pham Viet Chanh Street. Within the same district, it’s now possible to find upscale eateries and bars, while just down the street you can still find affordable street snacks. The duality of this city is usually quite apparent in this district. Are you hip to its Japanese area? Fancy a swim? Need a getaway to a quiet space with some nature? All of these and more can be found in Binh Thanh District so let SAU show you a few ways you can spend an entire day without leaving the district.
