SAU Explores: A Day in District 3
District 3 is part of the city centre, right next to District 1 and Binh Thanh, and probably one of the most ideal places to live in Ho Chi Minh City. What makes this area so special is that there are plenty of spots to visit, hidden cafes to check out, historical landmarks around, and various types of food to eat across this district.
From sprawling residential compounds surrounding little alleys, to museums and of course, street food. You can find most of what you need within this district, which due to its location, is also one of the most accessible in this city. Feel free to cycle or walk your way through these places as you learn more about the city with each alley you step into.
In this little guide to Saigon’s city centre, we’ll cover some day and nighttime activities that you can include into your schedule whenever you’re in District 3.
